dating a vegan
The first time I dated a vegan was in college. I met this girl who was vegan and I really didn’t like animals. She was a sweet girl, but I grew up in a time when everything was green and she wasn’t. I just didn’t understand. I thought she was just not into my vegan lifestyle. When she eventually broke up with me, it was because I said I was going to eat my meat.
I can relate to this girl. I have a vegan boyfriend and I really like him. He is actually a scientist, but I always felt that a lot of his research was based on things that aren’t vegan. He doesn’t like to talk about it too much, but every time I mention it, he gets all confused and says things like, “Oh but I was vegan once, and I just realized I wasnt.” That’s why I have stopped dating him.
That’s not what I meant. I was talking about dating a vegan, not a vegan-curious person. When a person is a vegan they are not looking for a relationship with someone that doesn’t eat meat. They are looking for a relationship with a vegan. It’s like you like to eat something, and you want to date someone who likes to eat like you.
That’s true. We think the same way about what we buy. We want to feel like we are part of something bigger than ourselves. So when we think of veganism, we’re thinking of an animal rights movement that wants to ban animal products. We’re not thinking of a vegan who is simply concerned about her health or the environment.
No. We aren’t looking for a vegan. We aren’t even trying to date a vegan. We’re just looking for a person who doesn’t eat meat because we eat meat, and we want to date someone who doesn’t buy meat from a factory farm or at a grocery store.
We arent looking for someone who is or isnt vegan. We are looking for a person who eats meat because we want to date someone who doesnt buy meat from a factory farm or at a grocery store.
The person you want to date can’t be a vegan. They should either be vegan and in the closet, or vegan and in the closet, but not both.
If you’re looking for a vegan friend, don’t just say vegan because it makes it sound like you’re looking for a vegan date. You’ve almost certainly never dated someone vegan, but you’re thinking of dating someone who is vegan. For example, if you’re dating a vegan, you might ask, “Hey, how was your date?” and they might then say something like “Vegan.
So if someone says something like Vegan, you know that theyre vegan. But if they say Vegan, they are vegan. So if they say Vegan, you know they are vegan. But if they say Vegan, you dont really know. They may be vegan.
If your date says Vegan, theyve probably been vegan all their life and you dont really know. If your date says Vegan, youre probably not gonna get a date. If your date says Vegan, you need to learn how to say Vegan.
