This week on Teen Dating Older Man, I’m talking to my friend, Justin, about his experiences as a teen and how he’s dealing with it now. Justin’s story is a little different from my own, but it’s an interesting one nonetheless.
Its pretty common for teens to date older men, mainly because they are usually more stable and less likely to have sex. I know this because I have dated younger men than I have dated older guys, and I have had a lot of success with older men. The thing is, I can say that because I’m an older man, as a parent I’ve known young men who have dated younger women as well.
Its a bit different for me than if I was dating a younger guy, because I think older guys are more likely to be interested in them when they are like, “Hey, I just met this girl. Let’s date her.” Whereas a younger guy is more likely to be like, “Hey, I just met this girl. Let’s not date her.
I am not a parent, but I can certainly relate to this because young men and older men are different in that respect. It is a little different, because a younger guy will be like, Hey, Im only like five years older than you, but I’m not going to date you just because you’re five years older than me.
It’s kind of strange that older men are a lot more likely to date younger men, but maybe that’s because they have more time to talk and date younger men than younger men have to date older men. And maybe they can talk about dating younger men more on their own time than younger men can talk about dating older men.
Like we said, college-aged men are more likely to date younger men. The difference is that college-aged men tend to have more free time and more time to talk about dating before they actually fall in love.
Of course, dating older men is not really new. It is, however, becoming more common among young people. And we’re not talking about the “hook-up” type. We’re talking about the “date a man who’s your age” type of dating. Which, as the saying goes, is the norm these days.
In the past I’ve talked about dating older men, but that was when I was still a member of the college dating scene. Now I’m a single person, and I’ve dated older men. But I’ve also dated older women, too. But the biggest difference among the two groups is that my dating partners are all a lot older than I am. Which is pretty cool because it means I can have more fun and I don’t have to worry about getting older.
It’s a small part of my life, but I think it’s a big part of the dating scene now too. And I’m not sure I’m entirely satisfied with it. I think there are a lot of attractive women who are younger than me, and a lot of attractive older men who are younger than me. But I’m not really sure what kind of attraction I’m looking for.
I just got married last week so its not like I’m dating anyone today. But I know a few people who are. And I think its a good thing. I’m not going to go out with someone who is too old to be my boyfriend, but I do think it’s a bit weird that I’m getting married when my boyfriend is only 21.
